History

The Clifton Social Club Building at 310 Chase Creek, Clifton, AZ was built in 1913. 

The Clifton Social Club was formed in 1942 as a space for Mexican-Americans to congregate. It was originally men-only; the Clifton Auxiliary later formed for women. 

The club is under new ownership and has undergone extensive renovations from 2022-2023. If you have memories or photos of the club that you'd like to share, please email us at cliftonsocialclub@gmail.com.
